Reimagine Festivals

Reimagine is a Silicon Valley-based experiential nonprofit, founded out of IDEO, that produces 3-to-10-day citywide festivals designed to spark more open, creative, and human conversations around death, grief, and end-of-life.

I helped scale Reimagine’s festival model, supporting experiences that brought together 10K+ total attendees and 60–100+ events across each festival. Programming spanned cultural institutions, community spaces, intimate workshops, performances, talks, dinners, and public art, with partners including Pixar, the Contemporary Jewish Museum, SoulPancake, and thought leaders like Anne Lamott.

The work required balancing citywide logistics, partner relationships, sensitive subject matter, and a wide range of event formats while maintaining a cohesive festival experience.

These festivals were coined a “World Changing Idea” by FastCompany and “The Outside Lands of Death” by the San Francisco Chronicle.
